Went to see this performance last night and was really sad to see the low attendance at this showing. A fine performance was given by the actors of this Brian Friel play. A few comic moments but mostly a thought provoking and subtle rendition of a family in rural Ireland, who experience love and loss in the 1930's. Go and... More

All seats have a good view for any show. There is a side door for disabled to avoid the steps, but need to ring and make sure there are seats on the level first, or wheelchair spaces. No discounts for enablers/carers. I like this theatre. It is small but very neat.

I have contacted barnfield theatre box office to get tickets for myself and my son who is disabled . In every single theatre in Exeter , I ,as a carer accompanying my disable son go for free . That rule apparently and surprisingly doesn't apply to Barnfield Theatre. But that was not the main reason ( however strong enough) for... More

In March for our Anniversary we went to see The Three Degrees and they were fabulous. It was great to see the two original members and the new one excellent. Very lively. Really included the audience. It was a feel good evening. Would go to see them again. Can't believe how active and fit they are. They never stopped. "Well... More

Went to the theatre tonight with my husband and two others to see Ralph Mctell who was good, no complaints, before the show started we went into the bar for a drink, 1 bottle of pedigree beer, 1 bottle of Newcastle Brown, and two small white wines, a total of £23.......we were stunned at this price, how could they charge... I am new to Exeter having moved from Warwickshire a few months ago. A flyer had been put up in my office for 'Murder on the Nile' which was performing at Barnfield Theatre. I have always been extremely keen on the theatre and decided to book the tickets for myself and my partner, hoping that though it isn't a large... More

This performance of Cinderella was outstanding, probably the most entertaining and funny panto we've seen and we've seen alot! The cast we're all very polished and of a very high standard of acting and singing ability. Much better than some 'supposedly' proffesional productions that cost much more. Lyn Burgoyne did and amazing job of directing this talented cast, please do... More

Went to the Panto - Cinderella - with the family. The theatre is very cosy and no issues with seeing the stage. The cast from ELTC were great - especially the ugly sisters mother! Great price and great audience participation. Not sure about two of the jokes but otherwise very entertaining.

Last night Barnfield Theatre Exeter was an amazing gig we arrived a bit early worrying about the amount of roadworks but had a smooth ride in even managing to park on the road free of charge. Got to theatre about 6.15 and the doors opened at 7.00, spent a lovely time with Jenny and her friend in the bar before... More

Although fairly small, this theatre packs a punch. Situated near the city centre, offering a huge range of entertainment, from pantomimes to folk singers. There's great bar, and a café, handy box office, just inside the door. What ever the event, you'll find a fantastic atmosphere, seats I find are very reasonably priced, and makes for an enjoyable night out... More
