Had lunch here today and it was a delight. Setting is stunning, sun was shining so thankfully we got to eat outside and take advantage of the view. Food was of a good standard and there was a varied choice. Not a bad price either. Hopefully will return.

We were really disappointed with the carvery. There was taste to it, limited selection of vegetable on a small plate and only 2 small slices of meat. Expected more for the price. Setting was beautiful but the food needs improving .

Visited on a busy Sunday with friends after walking down through the woods. We luckily managed to sit outside in the glorious weather. Nice selection on the menu and very generous portions. Good value for money given that they could easily take advantage of the location. Would definitely recommend and we'll most return if back in the area.

We went into the pub just as the storm was coming which caused all the electric to go off. The staff though managed with a few candles and selling bottled drinks while we waited for the electric to be reconnected. Great staff who made a difficult time a good experience using common sense realising walkers would still turn up even... More

This place is ideal for dog lovers. With loads of walks close by and a basket full of dog bones at the end. We came here with friends over the bank holiday and it was packed. We luckily found a couple of tables outside overlooking the river. We were told food would take around 45 mins which we were happy... More

Good afternoon, thank you very much for such a positive review. We do get very busy here, so thank you for be so understanding about the food delay. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your 'traditional pub grub' and that you felt the prices were reasonable. We look forward to you visiting us again. Best Wishes More

Beautiful location and a wonderful walk. Good parking availability. I was saddened however, when we found a dog that must have slipped his lead and we went in with a photo to ask if the bar staff new the owner or whether they were regulars, we were told that they don't deal with the animals! You wouldn't even look at... More

I have read your review and feel completely at a loss as to why you feel any of this is fair or reasonable?! You did come to the Bar to explain the situation about the lost dog and that it had bitten your daughter. Whilst the Barman on an extremely busy Bank holiday was rushed off his feet with customers... We came across the Inn when visiting Fingle Bridge for a walk and decided to stop for lunch! Lovely setting by the water, very picturesque and really good pub grub. We ordered at the bar and service was good. I had the homity pie which was lovely, the lasagne and steak and ale were equally good! Would highly recommend!

After a long run what seemed a great stop to refuel, 45min later it didn't feel the same once the food was in front of my eyes! I had some of it and so did my boyfriend as after 9 miles run we were starving but we had to leave most of it as it was dripping in fat,I can... More

Good Morning, Thank you very much for taking the time to review the Fingle Bridge Inn. I am very disappointed you did not enjoy your visit. The Beef Hot Pot is a very popular dish but I can only apologise that it did not meet your requirements. What really saddens me is that you never gave us the opportunity to... More
