Real Value Reel Cinema

OK its not the best cinema in Plymouth but its the best value around 40% cheaper. Great location in the centre of town, comfy seats and very friendly service. Enjoyed the film.

Love seeing films here - knackered old (but beautiful) building with 3 screens. I can imagine the good times in had back in the day. Great value for money. So the decor is tired and the carpet need s changing, plus your feet may stick to the floor. Staff always friendly. But would rather watch a film here than at... More

Cheap to watch a film in comparison to vue cinema. Old so money goes towards the upkeep and basically keeping it running and open. Bit of a numb bum and smaller screen the confectionary they sell at half the price of normal cinemas. Take a cushion to sit on if you need too and it's a great cheap night out... More

Good things. Staff were excellent Bad things... Where to start, seats rubbish, sound terrible the place needs so much work, felt like no sound insulation in screen so echo and sound bleed from other screens You really get what you don't pay for Obvious savings compared to vue especially if a family is going but the experience when I went... It's run down, there's no bling but it is a relaxed and inexpensive place to watch mainstream films. Much cheaper than the Vue. Recent local press stories suggest firstly that a property company have been consulting and are looking to make a planning application for another vast high rise student accommodation block on the site of Reel. Another story hints... More

Me and my friends visit here at least once a week. We used to go Vue cinema, but the prices there became ridiculous, and it lacked any personality. Then, about 2yrs ago, on the off chance we decided to give this cinema a try... We haven't been back to Vue since. True, the place isn't very modern and could possibly... More

Very cheap tickets. Wouldn't expect to have to pay any more as the cinema isn't the most pleasant place to sit in the dark; especially with the rumours that it's haunted!

If you love going to the cinema but dont love the prices then you need to head to Reel cinema. This place is so charming, it has lovely old, red velvet seats that make me feel like I am in a theatre. Only one screen is of todays size, the other is very small, but for some films it is... More

About half the price of vue cinema, which is a brilliant price. The snacks are affordable. Small cinema, doesn't have many screens. Isn't the cleanest of cinemas but you get what you pay for.
