Of all the ports that Brittany Ferries use, Plymouth is the poor relation. The staff seem to have very little idea how to manage the vehicles both leaving and arriving. Every time we use Plymouth, the staff have to try and move vehicles closer together,...More

I travelled alone on the ferry. I felt safe and the staff were very helpful. The cabin was comfortable, not large but adequate. After all the announcements (20mins or so) all was quiet and I had a good sleep. The ship Alarm woke me up...More

Parking nearby, drive slowly to avoid taking route to freights! Check in easy. Ferry clean and well organised. Worth extra for cabin but plenty of seats to relax or sleep in. Wi-Fi limited so download movies etc beforehand. Cabin impressive, twin beds, fruit and biscuits...More

Excellent staff to see your bikes settled in for the crossing. Bit of squeeze getting out past panniers but you can rest knowing your stuff is secure. Good cabins with clean bathroom and shower, quality linen, toiletries and towels, very comfortable. Plenty of hangouts on...More

We used the ferry to go and come back from France very good crossing and facilities I do think however that the quality of the food has gone down since our last visit. Pint of beer cheaper than mainland though!

We are Club Voyage members, and have travelled many times on Brittany Ferries over the last 10 years. However there are some elements of the service which are deteriorating. It was always a treat to eat on the St Malo crossing, however cost cutting is...More

Hello Chris, It's no problem at all if you want to take food supplies in your car to your gite. I hope you have a lovely holiday. Kind regards Jane
My husband and I are planning a trip from the US to the U.K. the end of August. This ferry was recommended to us and I've gone to the website for more info. Being ignorant to ferries, I have a few questions... we would like to go to Caen - how far by ferry? Also wondered about accommodations... they have listed hotel prices as well... why would you need a hotel if the ferry has accommodations? That is two of my questions.. I'm sure I'll have more. 😁 Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.
