It may be the biggest aquarium in the UK, but that must count for the size of the building, not the actual contents of it! We spent half an hour queuing outside in the rain (I appreciate the weather is not their fault, but they could've had more staff at the front desk!), we then spent around £30 to get... More

My brother has a learning disability and we took him to the aquarium for his birthday. We all had a great time. Thanks very much.

I came here last week with my best friend for her little boys birthday, and it was so lovely. The staff were kind and generous to each of our needs and providing high chairs and also sorted out dietary requirements easily and quickly. The whole place was clean and her little boy loved running round watching all the fish!

We had a Christmas party at the Aquarium and we were pleasantly surprised. The room where you eat is the main room with the huge glass wall, so whilst eating you have the fish swimming past you. The food was very nice, we had the mackerel pate to start which was nice but it could have had more that 4... More

A good attraction but so sad to find that the only turtle they had died. The staff are very friendly, apart from the gift shop, and very informative with a genuine sense of care and humour. Worth a visit but expensive at full price.

Thanks for your feedback, and yes Snorkel the turtle was a very sad loss to the team and our regular visitors. Sadly snorkel was only with us because she needed daily care, so we would only look to help other stranded or ill turtles. We are really proud of our teams so we'll pass you feedback on to the manegment... More

I'm never sure of going to visit aquariums or zoos as I feel sometimes the welfare of the animals can be put to one side as profit is always paramount. Saying this all of the fish looked very well looked after, tanks were clean and all of the staff were very well informed on all different species and were willing... More

Visited on a rainy afternoon, Reasonable price to get in £14.95 (Adult no concessions) and well laid out with lots of interesting and informative tanks etc What I found disappointing was that the maintenance has clearly been cut as some of the information boards below the tanks had been damaged making the writing there on impossible to read! It was... More

Thanks for your feedback. You'll be pleased to know we are working on updating all of our exhibits, and in 2016 managed to update two with new theming and interpretation. We've more refurbishments planned for 2017. We're glad you enjoyed the rest of the Aquarium though. Thanks again for the feedback. More

Very enjoyable and ideal for people of all ages. Many varieties of fish, large tanks, views from under the tank, sharks, turtles etc. Good value for money, and a nice gift shop at the end.
