Brilliant friendly pub, in the heart of the Barbican always try and pop in to see the friendly staff and sample some ales.

This is the old picturesque area of Plymouth close to one of the harbours below the Citadel and Plymouth Hoe. Narrow cobbled streets, galleries, shops, cafes, pubs - a very pleasant way to spend some time.

Extremely beautiful place with views across the sound. Excellent for a stroll and an ice cream or a drink in one of the many bars each with a different vibe/character.

Having strolled around on the Hoe, I cut down through narrow streets and steps to reach the Barbican. An enjoyable area of shops and cafes of all shapes and sizes, on a sunny Saturday plenty of atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Lots to see and do here. We have been here a number of times and still have a list of "must do's". It's a lively environment where just about everything you could want, as adults or family groups, is there. Eateries, from affordable snacks to...More

Really nice place - easy to spend a good day here. Lots of vintage shops and galleries and plenty of choice for food and drink. Would recommend Jacka Bakery for lunch!

Growing up in Plymouth, the Barbican is a very special place to revisit. It has retained its historical charm while gradually modernising. I do miss the Lenkovitz mural though. The Mayflower steps are still iconic and it’s good to see Cap’n Jasper’s is still thriving.

Cobbled streets and historic houses on the waterfront. Lots of restaurants and bars. A nice place to wander around have a meal or just people watch.
