A good, old fashioned pub, clean, pleasant and friendly staff and Bass on tap. No complaints at all. I see a lot of people taking their fish and chips from one of the takeaways in there, which is much nicer than standing in the rain or being ordered to buy food from them.

Easily one of the best pubs on the barbican. Good range of local ales mixed with a great atmosphere. You are also welcome to take food in and eat. Proper job.

Went here with a small group a couple of times on a recent trip to Plymouth. Friendly atmosphere, we were able to watch Jason Kenny winning Keirin cycling gold at the Olympics.

Lovely place, friendly staff and customers. Ice cold Stella and nice ambience. Lovely to see young people behind the bar with some humour and actually enjoying themselves.

Great little find on the Barbican, Stella chilled to perfection and able to sit at bar and not be stared at that it's someone's seat!! Good range of cask ales

Great little harbour side pub, all real ales were fantastic (probably as they are poured straight from the cask. Full of locals, you have to visit this little treasure.

Been in Plymouth for the last 3 months and it would not have been anything like as good had I not been tipped off to this pub. My tipple is the cask bass which I can highly recommend but there's lots of other ales to choose from. If you like beer this is the place to go. Also been in... More

This has become an essential part of any trip that we make to Plymouth - it is a classic (proper) pub, serving an excellent range of real ales straight from the barrel. Great service and atmosphere to boot - don't miss it!

Great pub in the Barbican part of the city, next to the marina. Serving excellent, no nonsense beer. Bar snacks served, did not see any other food on offer. Plenty of fish and chip shops etc around though!
