More
RIO, a social enterprise focused on improving the lives of communities and young people across the South West, acquired Devonport Guildhall in 2007 and officially opened its doors to the public in April 2010. Fast becoming Plymouth's heritage destination, Devonport boasts the city's finest collection of Regency features including Foulston's Grade 1 listed Devonport Guildhall and Devonport Column with a viewing platform at 124feet. From weddings to conferences, vintage fayres to music events, Devonport Guildhall provides the perfect space for a multitude of daytime and evening functions. Why not pay us a visit.. come and view the impressive main hall with its very own Lenkiewicz; visit the historic cells to take in an art exhibition; climb the 137 steps of the Column and then relax with a rich roasted coffee and slice of scrumptious cake in the Column Bakehouse, our very own Artisan Bakery, before taking a freshly baked loaf home with you for supper!

Great place to visit if you are a boxing fan. They have great memorabilia on their walls and they stage boxing bouts in this area too.

If you are looking for a celebration venue, you should consider this. A lovely building, friendly staff and the place to create some wonderful memories. We had a great time at a friend's wedding reception as did all our friends.
