Well worth a visit any season of the year. Walk along the river to the viaduct and the remains of the industrial past. Car park is small and can be very busy at times.

Had a wonderful afternoon reminiscing with my sweetheart. We used to walk here when we were first courting back in 1974. Still as lovely today

Great place for a walk - lots of other dogs to meet! Peaceful and yet so close to the city. Every time we come I find a different trail to use and there's the river too. Free parking keeps the humans happy.

Plenty to do , like walking dogs, going for a stroke or bike riding, there is an amazing bike trail and a quaint little railway line. With lots of lovely scenery, it's a great place to visit

Walking into the woods is always a pleasure, If you go in summer you can definitely have a bath in the river. Really nice and just at the edges of town. Easy to reach with public transport too. Definitely suggested.
