Come here for years and the place is dead, what the hells going?! The music's ok, the staff have faces like slapped bums but with a club with 5people in, what do you expect?!

Probably not the best place to go if your a pretentious wine drinker like a previous trip advisor reviewer, Great place to go if your a realist, in touch with reality and you want a fun night out, Music policy is very broad with virtually...More

I have supported this place in the past but no longer. Over £4 for a glass of very dubious wine (tasted more like water) and terrible service! The staff (5 of them) gathered in one corner and the most un-professional bunch I've ever met and...More

We came in the spring. A Saturday night about 12.30pm. Possibly six other people in. Large room cold because they kept the front doors open. Booze not cheap. Came here three or four years ago when it was much livelier. This time completely flat. Music...More

Long established and still well used late night bar/club/dance venue, heavily used by locals and servicemen. The fortunes of the older end of Union St seem to fluctuate but Jesters still does well. Plenty of booze, dance floor space and a bit of edge. Which...More

Nightlife premises in Union Street seem to come and go like the tide but the very well known Jesters has been in place and successful for a long time. Quiet before 11ish but busy especially from Thursday to Saturday. It draws a good lively crowd...More
