We came in last night, a little drunk, with an injured friend, asking for first aid. The barman Chris was really friendly and sorted her out, we then returned later for a few drinks. Great atmosphere, highly recommend!

This is my favourite pub in Plymouth without a doubt! Every weekend there is a brilliant band playing which ALWAYS has a fantastic atmosphere! The people are friendly, the staff are amazing and it's just a brilliant place for everyone!

I visited thistle park tavern when I was on my holiday in Plymouth. This place has a great atmosphere with a variety of beers and spirits.

Another great night in this old school music pub. A group of 7 couples started the evening in the Thai restaurant upstairs which was very nice, than headed down into the bar after. I've seen countless bands here, and the atmosphere is always really good....More

It is a good old British pub. No pretentious rubbish here, friendly staff, great live music, good venue. The beers are well kept, not eaten here so unable to comment on this aspect. However the salted peanuts were spotted on.
