Whenever we are in Torquay and surrounding areas we always stop on the cliffs of Babbacombe to take in the views and pop into one of the good eateries on the clifftop our favourite being The Babbacombe Inn. Very good value and good choice.

Our visit to Babbacombe mid February was very good. We stood on the cliff top and looked at the derosion of the cliff walls and this really made you think, Also the theatre show on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening is brilliant and we would recommend it to all. Amazing location, with great coffee houses and restaurants. Wide range of accommodation provided from intimate bed and breakfasts to mid size hotels. Amazing walks and views. Beach is beautiful. Lots to do and see.

A must is Babbacombe Cliff Railway down to Odicombe beach, stroll along to Babbacombe harbour with a possible welcome from a seal. Thenmaybe have a cuppa in the cafe or the exclusive pub before the walk back to The Downs with a beautiful view across Lyme Bay. Then enjoy fish and chips, Babbacombe has two of the best Drakes and... More
