Different shops from different era's can be found here. There's a cobbled street with a blacksmith's with authentic smell of cinders and an old fashioned piano playing. There is a nursary, Victorian bathroom and shops, pub and the scary dentist\s.

If you would like to go back in time, to Victorin & War era, this museum is a must see. Spend hours looking at all the memorabilia, costumes & scenes of those times. Theres lovelly cafe too.

Absolutely fascinating to see all the various displays of how life was over 100 years ago. Realistic WW1 area to walk through. I would recommend to anyone.

This museum is packed with interesting things mainly from the Victorian era up to the forties & fifties. Well worth a visit.

We can't tell you how much we love coming to bygones... the sound effects alone is fab. But the atmosphere going through victorian era is just amazing.. we wish we lived nearer to go more often as every time we visit we see something different.....More

Yes! We are completely dog friendly in the whole building, even in our cafe where the staff will find a seat that conforms to our health and safety. We get lots of dogs in (of course free of charge!). Hope to see you and... More

Hi, yes we recommend 1 hour to 1.5 hours but as you can see from all the other positive comments, many people spend longer as there is so much to see across the 3 floors!
