Small stretch of shingle beach overlooking Torbay. Great for rock pooling. Good public toilets (open in Summer). Great friendly cafe. Access to cliff top walks. Back drop of the Osborne , a crescent georgian hotel. Parking available for beach on road and in small carpark.

Unfortunately just after we arrived the weather changed and it started to rain! However it looked a quiet and clean area with good facilities. A nice walk from Torquay but be prepared for some steep steps along the way.

This is a lovely beach overlooked by a beautiful cafe. Ideal to stand and listen to the waves crashing into the rocks.

Although there is very little beach, it is a marvellous spot. Lovely views and great fishing - just mind the rocks

Nice narrow beach, a mix of sand, shingle and stone. High tide will make much of the available space disappear so check tide times as low tide and slack water make for a more enjoyable experience.

We spent a couple of enjoyable days at this beach whilst in Torquay. My partner and our son paddled and swam in the water, it's not a busy beach so you can relax and enjoy this wonderful beach.

This is a lovely quiet beach mostly unknown to the tourist. A most relaxing place. Parking easy and not the usual masses on the beach. Also dog friendly (but not in hot weather please). Just a stone's throw from the main Torquay beachfront. Ideal for...More

We found this as we were struggling for dog beaches and stumbled upon this gem. You can park on the road for free and the beach is pretty long for the dogs to run around. Shame it isn't sand and is pebbles but if your...More

A beach which is a hidden gem not far from the center of Torquay. A cafe provides a range of drinks and food, but the beach offers swimming and a range of other water sports activities.

Lovely area, very quiet and peaceful. The views from our accommodation were great. The walk into Torquay was not too strenuous so you don't need to be super fit but there is some hill walking to keep in mind.

I found the beach following a visit to Kents Cavern. I took the scenic route back to Torquay and found this quiet unspoilt beach. A nice place to be alone with your thoughts away from the tourist hot spots. Some lovely views and a nice...More
