Grubby and slow with surly staff who don't seem to prioritise the customer. Food mediocre, nothing special. Wiping down tables, removing dirty plates and service with a smile would work wonders. Disappointing.

We are usually excited to visit China Blue as it has a wide range of lovely homewards. However, this time, not so. We were a little disappointed with the lack of choice this year.

Cafe staff so rude it ruined my experience at China Blue as I was so upset at being spoken to in such a manner. I politely asked if I could have more coffee in my latte as it tasted purely of milk to be told...More

Visited today as something to do with the kids in wet weather. The shop was lovely to browse around. Although we didn't eat here the cafe food looked delicious and good value. My children loved painting some china ornaments and were very reasonably priced. The...More

We stopped here, wrongly thinking it was a pottery outlet: our mistake, as we discovered a studio for painting pottery. It was virtually empty, but I imagine it's popular with children. The rest of the large shed is cluttered with tat and junk: it is...More

Yes, cafe is but beware the shop, as a lot of items are on display on random sized display tables, easy to accidentally knock things off.

It may be online. The prices are on the bottom of the unpainted items when you arrive and there is an additional studio charge for them to fire them. You are best to go at the beginning of your trip as it can take up to a... More
