An extraordinary beautiful place with a superb beach cafe. The walk from the visitor centre to the beach gives you a 360 view and is spectacular. Interesting to see that those beach huts sell for £ 300'000!
With how hot this summer has been, a good swim in the sea is needed. We went for a lovely walk last Friday night and a swim! Absolutely beautiful beach! It’s always a nice trip down here for a walk or to dip your toes

This is a great place for a walk. The views are stunning. The beach at Mudeford Spit is pretty but if you walk around to the other side of Hengistbury Head from here you can get a beach almost to yourself. Lovely afternoon walk with...More
It's worth coming here, either taking the 30minute walk or using the train (charges apply). Great views and spectacular sunrise or sunsets can be seen. It's a very popular place, so allow plenty of time as the car park gets very full in peak season....More
Wonderful views over the coast & Isle of Wight & not too difficult even if you make it to the end. Go down to Mudiford Spit to finish off a lovely day. You can walk or take the Train to return to the Carpark.

Its a good path which is wide and the views either side of the path are wonderful. There is a train which is user friendly which takes you to the beach/café. Having said this, once off the train at beach/café point, it would be more difficult as the tarmac path runs out. There are benches along the way of path. Another way of getting to the beach/café would be to get the ferry at Mudeford across to Hengistbury which is that much nearer to beach/café and does give a different view point.
