I visited Bournemouth in September and decided to have a look at the oceanarium. I was very pleasantly surprised it's extremely interesting and well laid out full of very things. The otters and the penguins were particularly appealing but there are many many species of...More

A clean and well presented exhibit. An interesting talk by the guy feeding the Otters. The glass sides to the Tanks were kept clean so didn't obscure seeing the sea life.

We had a lovely time wandering around and reading all the Information and watching the sea life. We were there a couple of hours, make sure you take your time or you’ll do it very quickly! The turtles were our favourite. I’d recommend going around...More

I took my teenage daughters there for a morning and they both enjoyed having a look at the creatures.

We visited the aquarium on a recent trip to Bournemouth. We had a good visit however I do think it's a little expensive for what you see. It's small in size, taking approx 30 min to go around. The turtle was my highlight, managed to...More

Situated on the front at Bournemouth next to the pier This place is a good place to spend an hour or so, probably not worth the £12.50 entrance fee each, but if it’s raining and you are bored of shopping it makes a change from...More

The place isn't massive, it feels stuffy and I thought the animals should have bigger enclosures, especially sharks sharing same basin with turtles. We did have fun though and our toddler enjoyed it a lot too! We visited on a Monday and I thought it...More
