Expensive and lacking! I'd liken it to that of a poor mans sea life centre (shame the pricing structure didn't do the same)

First off, if you go on a school holiday when it's raining your going to get what you deserve. It's one of those places that's great fun to explore at your own leisure but when it's busy that's not going to be the case.

Have visited here every time we go to Bournemouth, it's not the largest of Aquariums but that's not a bad thing if you are taking small children around. The dwarf otters are absolutely adorable, as are the penguins. The wonderful turtles were in a smaller tank this time so you could really get close. This is a great little place... More

what a lovely morning we had visiting the creatures here, we had a lovely long chat to Laura one of the staff, as a marine mammal medic and conservationist i was impressed with the information around the site about our planet and sea creatures, and loved the natural environments for the animals and lovely to see natural behaviors going on,... We spent a good couple of hours in here and had a good chat with Laura and had a slight soaking from the turtles feeding which we toughly enjoyed, A good day for familys to learn what is in the oceans of the world.

Have visited this Oceanarium multiple times on trips to Bournemouth and loved it every time! Staff are always friendly. Animals look very well cared for and enclosures look clean and well kept. Coffee shop is brilliant also, beautiful view of the beach and tasty food and drinks! We parked in the BIC carpark just around the corner so parking was... More

Good way to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day, for a relatively small place there is lots packed in and lots of information about all the fish etc. Reasonably priced too and you can save a couple of quid if booked online.

Decided whilst out with another couple to have a look at the Oceanarium. It was smaller than I thought, so walking through didn't take that long and we did feel the price was slightly higher, but put this down to the costs of looking after the fish etc. Well looked after sting rays, although one did seem to want to... Book online saves a few £'s Didn't feel the pools were particularly adequate for the turtles but otherwise Nice visit. Stayed for penguin feeding which was good to hear. Good on a winters day when tying to find something to entertain kids with.

Really good place to visit, right on the sea front, large selection of different sea animals- including penguins and turtles which were amazing to see! It was lovely to see the animals in large environments too rather that little tanks etc. Great for children- plenty of bonus activities to do around the place. Set over 2 floors with many different... More
