First time we spent spent so much time on the sea front. Absolutely beautiful. Could walk miles on the flat terrain and suitable for everyone.

This lovely long sandy beach has to be the best on the South Coast. The beach is well looked after by the authorities and is well provided for with cafes and toilets. There are no cars rushing past as the promenade is back-dropped by cliffs. Life guards are in attendance and due to the almost flatness of the sand bathing... More

Really clean beach with some lively entertainment to keep you occupied. Plenty of cafe's around, and its next to Bournemouths glorious gardens, thoroughly relaxing.

I'm so lucky to live here. I moved from Reading in 2003. It's so pretty and the sea is great to swim in, especially during summer seasons!

The beach here is sandy and clean. There are plenty of seating areas at main hub near beach. Cafes and takeaways. Restaurants and the like. Plenty of hotels of all different prices. There is a zip wire. People surf. Plenty of shops nearby.

We walked from Boscombe along the beach and promenade to Sandbanks & on to Poole Quay. A great walk with good varying scenery. About 12 miles & railway station convenient in Poole to get train back to Bournemouth for £4.10 a piece single. A great day!

This is one of the best beaches on the south coast. It's broad, full of soft sand with plenty of room. The roughly a mile or so stretch between Bournemouth and Boscombe is ideal for families in the summer and a good walk at any other time. There is a little land train for those who would prefer not to... More

Great place to look out to sea. Great arcade and some nice ice cream places. Parking is expensive and can be really busy in the summer months. Good for a day trip though. Nice views
