Long walks along the beach (sportif or Relaxing), great views on the coast, nice restaurants - just a great place to be.

Lovely beach for long walks, running and to walk the dog, due to an incident in 2016 only one lift left, if necessary

Miles of golden sandy beach with a prom at the back. And a pier. You can walk for miles and Bournemouth town centre is in the middle. Incredible

Visited the beach here on a n umber of occasions. Busy and great in the summer, but just as enjoyable in the winter walking along the promenade.

easy walking as all on the flat. If mobility a difficulty to get to the beach, use the footpaths thru the park on Westover Rd. Walking is on tarmac and it's possible to go as far as Poole if wanted. Great for walking the dog....More

Always nice and relaxing avoid the pier that's where everyone gathers in between the piers is the best

A beautiful coastline compliamented by good cafes and a decent pier complex. My husband andI thoroughly enjoyed our costal walk. The beach has a traditional feel and a cycle path too. We Took pleasure in the scenic views balmy autum weather and lovely beach huts.

There are several Premium Inns in the area I suggest these would be the best value.

I always park at the hotel, and on average pay between 8-10 per ,24 hr period. I think the parking near beach will cost much more, that's if you can find a space
