We have been to the museum several times and each time we are astounded by the wealth of items on display. This house, now a museum encapsulates all that was the cream of Edwardian Britain. There are several floors each with a distinctive display, from...More

Despite sounding like a brand of electronic kitchen gadget, this is a historic house, art gallery and museum located on the coast at Bournemouth. It's kind of fusty, as you may expect, but me and Mr Random managed to get in free with our Art...More

If you love museums and art galleries this is the place for you. A beautiful house with a fantastic, extremely varied collection of sculpture, paintings and various oddities. A lovely garden and a great little cafe too. Admission very reasonable.

Best museum I have visited. What a hidden gem. Spent a great morning in here - so much to see. Admission fee is affordable and not too expensive to put people off going in. Love this place and would visit again and again...

One can spend a whole morning or afternoon exploring this little "big" Museum. No description can provide visitors with what it is like immersing oneself in Art, so varied as the one Russel-Cotes allows us to.

Walking from the new visitor entrance into the home of Russell Coates was a draw dropping experience. The home has been beautifully restored and the tour guide was excellent and bought the home to life. If you have time this is a must see attraction.

I'm definitely no art expert, but love the Victorian era so just the possiblity of strawling throught these magnificent rooms made it worth the entry fee. And to think of how many hours of craftmanship have been put into the building itself and all the...More
