You need to have at least four visits as you couldn’t possibly see it all in one day.. the views from the top of the keep are excellent. We will be going back to see what more there inside the pull out draws which are...More

Glad we dropped by the museum. Our two young boys enjoyed it. Lots to see and even touch/feel. Younger son (3) was a bit afraid of the trenches and big guns. The find-a-rat challenge kept my seven year old busy which was good. Quite reasonably...More

Excellent museum in pretty much every way telling the story of the two County Regiments and their affiliations. Great array of uniforms, medals and equipment along with the many information sheets and tableaux spread over three floors. Really very good.

This is a really great place to go, particularly if the weather is not so good. You can immerse yourself in real military history of Dorset.

Not my cup of tea but for someone that likes history on the war then yr love it . I did enjoy the view though from the top of the museum you can see the whole of Dorchester x
