I have been to swimming pools that smell less of chlorine. I am not joking. They must have a lot of vomit to clear up regularly to use so much bleach here. This would be one star except for the offer of Dr Pepper bombs,...More

Not the best pub service was not very quick and the cider tasted off a band was setting and blocking the access to the bar we then left as could not get through to get another drink

Supposed to be the oldest pub in Swanage. Enjoyed a convivial welcome to their quiz night. Sadly didn't win.

Great pub. Friendly, decent prices (compared to London), good atmosphere, open late, and really good bands and music. Great to eavesdrop on the local gossip too !

Great decor and cosy. staff friendly and the music is great :). drinks are a reasonable price. This pub should be alot busier than it is but to be fair it is 7pm on a Wednesday ( on holiday not alcoholics) :)

Visited for lunch during the week. It was very quiet with only a few tables occupied. Very helpful and friendly landlord. Food was good and the only criticism was that the bread used in the sandwiches was too thick - proper doorsteps!
