Located in the Royal Pavilion Garden, this museum has a diverse and eclectic collection of exhibits from 20th century artwork to fine art, costumes and furniture. Very interesting and worth a visit.

Situated in the beautiful Royal Pavilion Gardens you come across the Brighton Museum. At the moment they are featuring the work of Constable an incredible 18th century artist who by all accounts resided in Brighton for a good part of his life, a truly wonderful...More

We went last Saturday when there was free admission but even if you paid the £3.50 entry it is good value. The Constable exhibition was great and there are so many other areas of the museum to see as well

A superb exhibition that's on until October 2017. I hadn't appreciated John Constable sketched and painted around 150 works in Brighton? The best are on display in a stunningly curated exhibition, which includes the walking routes Constable took from Brighton to sketch and paint. What's...More

This museum is always good, there are permanent exhibits (furniture and design) and temporary ones, this time we visited Constable in Sussex which was lovely, also a fascinating costume exhibition.

We were attracted by a poster advertising an exhibition of Constable paintings. What a wonderful museum somewhat quirky in its displays. The 20th Century design hall was a favourite of mine. The Constable exhibition was well curated and a real treat and well worth the...More
