It is a really good museum, but I went to pop in the other day and it was over a tenner to get in! Free if you live in Brighton, but I think it's a bit overpriced now. From what I can remember it's a...More

We were enjoying wandering around Brighton with no fixed agenda apart from some time out. We walked through the Park and decided to visit the Museum and Art Gallery. It had been some years since we had last paid a visit. We had a lovely...More

Unique is the best word to describe this museum. The artifacts and treasures will not be found elsewhere. Allow a few hours. Big museums really compete to show works by known artists. This is the opposite. Good art is displayed and the presentation is different....More

Combine this museum with a trip to the Pavilion. Both are excellent. The museum had some great exhibits and at the time I visited was holding an exhibition of the 'National wild life photographer of the year' entries which was fascinating. Really enjoyed my trip...More

The Brighton Museum and Art Gallery is a nice place to visit, when nearby and already visiting The Royal Pavilion. The museum didn't really have much on display and within fifteen / thirteen minutes it is possible to have finished your tour.

We went here after visiting the Pavillion. we bought a "history ticket " which meant that admission to the museum was only a couple of pounds for the whole gang. We came to see the wildlife photography exhibition which is on until Sept 2015 and...More

There's always something interesting in the museum if you are interested in design - the exhibitions change regularly and it's free. There is also some good stuff to see on what makes Brighton so special - and the cafe is pretty good too.
