A large impressive seaside pier, with a lot of so cold "attractions" along (gaming machines food stands and children's play facilities). It's a great place, just to sit or stroll, breathe fresh air watch the views of sea and back to Brighton's seafront (even if or especially if you are not interested in the other "attractions")

Without fail I always end up dragging friends and family to their pier when we're in Brighton. Take your pennies and have a laugh around the arcade, grab food on the pier and be sure to get crepes and doughnuts before you leave from the huts at the entrance to the pier. Great views out to sea and of the... More

Free to get on (used to a shilling when I was a kid!). Loads of slot machines, couple of reasonable bars and good fish and chips. Little fun fair at the end of the pier. A good walk and you can spend nothing. Also gives good views of the seafront in both directions. Can get pretty mobbed on a hot... More

I could see how people would love it in the summer. The atmosphere would be great, and chilling out at one of the many restaurants along the way, would be very relaxing. However, I found it over rated, and you don't need more than half a day there. It's a very grungy town, if that's your thing (Camden is a... More

Visited the pier at Brighton for the first time in over 20 years this week. Lots of things to do even in winter, and plenty of free seating to enjoy the view and take a break. With some trepidation I decided to brave the toilets. What a pleasant surprise! They were amongst the best cared for public toilers I have... More
