Sadly we found the pier to be very tired and in need of a good lick of paint and some TLC. Sadly you can't get to the end of the pier easily due to the funfair.

It is a funfair and junk food and noise and all the fun things for families and kids to do. It is also a good view out to sea and along the coast of Brighton.

Nice place to visit. My son enjoyed the arcades and the fun fair.Good mix of old and modern architecture.All cash machines charged for service so take cash with you.

The palace pier website shows what rides there are with the heights you need. From memory, there wasn't much that would interest a 2 year old. Maybe the cup and saucer and the carousel but whether that's enough don't... More
