For any one visiting Brighton a trip up to Devils Dyke is a must. You can easily reach the Dyke by getting a 77 bus from the Clock Tower in the centre of Brighton, the journey takes around 45 minutes and a return ticket will cost you around £5.00. There are a number of nature walks and paths which will... More

Beautiful drive up to Devil's Dyke for a lovely short walk around and to the pub for lunch. Wonderful on a sunny day as you can see for miles.

We had some gorgeous weather for England in March, and took advantage by spending an afternoon on the Dyke. You can see for miles on a clear day, and walk as long as or as little as you want. You can't beat the views. There is a restaurant at the top of the Dyke as well that you can stop... More

Lovely during the summer. Gorgeous walks . Good pubs at the bottom of the dyke ., which is fine walking down to but tough walking back

My last visit to a Vintage Inn ( not this one) was a complete disaster so we were a little apprehensive but The Devils Dyke hotel had been recommended so we thought we would give it a go and what a pleasant surprise we had. The atmosphere was good, the room well lit ( perhaps a little too well lit... More

Travelled up here from near Brighton pier on bus 77 for £4.50 return and well worth a visit. There was a little mist around but still the views were amazing. On a clear day you can see as far as the isle of Wight in one direction and all over the Sussex downs. Great place for a picnic or hiking... More

You can't go wrong here should you like walking. Guess you could be lazy and go for the views and head straight to the restaurant by the car park but would be a waste. Just head out in any direction and be immersed in classic Sussex countryside - sensual rolling hills, sheep, breathtaking views and a lot of keen walkers.

Had a table booked during a very busy time on Saturday for 10 people. Sally, our waitress, was wonderfully friendly and helpful and great fun. The food was excellent, my ribeye was cooked just how I like it and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back. 10/10.

I have always come here, since I was small. I love the views but even when the weather isn't so nice it offers a lovely walk route.
