Incredible

Incredible views and scenery Always worth a trip to blow away the cob webs. The pub is good - nice to have a warm drink and food after a blustery walk

I am a local, moved out of the area for 10 years, returned & so disappointed with this pub and service. It's great they have complimentary water on bar; Lack of staff & attitude to customer service is really bad. I did a massive dog walk, arrived at pub before they even opened at midday. Waited with others to get... More

when we first moved to Brighton the Devils Dyke was our very first field trip. we had no idea what to expect. we took the 78 bus from the sea front and the ride there was fun. lots of neighborhood scenery. the ascent to Devils Dyke is like hors d'oeuvre to the actual place. it's beautiful and pastoral and then... Wonderful place to walk and enjoy the views across the South Downs. Also good to start a walk over to Shoreham. The restaurant at the Dyke has great views and a good menu. Plenty of parking but remember you need to pay even if only going to the restaurant... Recommend this area.

Devils Dyke is a fairly moderate walk, not too extreme and takes in some amazing views. What I like about this place is that you can have a little drink at the pub.....just don't try and eat there. The scenery is good though an you have numerous options for short or lengthy walks. Always busy at the weekends.

Definitely not walkable from anywhere central Brighton. But if you don't have a car you can get a bus up (make sure you check the times back, they're not that regular). Once you're there though it's a great walk. You can do a short one or an all day one (which stops at a farm shop, with tea, cakes and... More

We walked the Devils Dyke with two small children and our two chocolate labs. Great place to walk the dogs, take some exercise and enjoy the spring sunshine
