The park is great and popular with dog walkers but sadly the café is not dog friendly - which is completely stupid ! - if you have a dog they will make you sit outside which in summer might be ok but in autumn winter...More

A well stocked park with views from the past, a cafe, bowling green, childrens play area and plenty of space for dogs

Lovely little gardens with tennis courts and a playground. Nice that it isn't flat, which makes it more interesting. Inquisitive squirrels. The well has an interesting history. Nice cakes at the café, though they could do with turning the music down.

We only tried the play area in the park (and not the cafe) and it was great! Quite a big area and different things for different ages!
