We visited the Lanes on a mid week afternoon. It's a great place for everything you need, whether jewellery, men or women's cloths, gifts, etc along with a number or cafes and restaurants. A fantastic place to visit.

Loves winding my way through the lanes to find some hidden gems. Love the dog shop bloomin tales the owner is hilarious and his dog Yoda is very cute. A must if your visiting Brighton x

Narrow streets were fun but rather difficult to feel the atmosphere of days gone by due to the kind of shops there. Very unlike a similar area in Whitby where fishermen used to live.

These tiny lanes are full of unique shops. Lots of them selling jewellery and items of interest. Lots of different things to see.

I particularly loved this area for shopping, I think my husband liked it less but then he hates shopping! The range of shops is great, very unique.

Great independent shops, great for finding that something special. Take your time a peruse through the narrow lanes.

Our accommodation was nearby so we came to the Lane's several times. Great restaurants, interesting shops, fun vibe.

Everybody raves on about the lanes but we found it to be nothing more than a cramped, claustrophobic unpleasant labyrinth of walkways full of mainly jewellery shops, and not the place we were expecting. It was very busy and at times you could only go...More

We do not normally get a chance to visit these lanes as we always park in the north lanes and by the time we get here maybe via the shopping centre they are closing. There were a few shops I would visit again I discovered...More

The main shops in Brighton are open on Good Friday so I would think that the shops in the Lanes will be open as they will want the trade

hi ya we always park in the marina car park which is free all day. It's a huge car park so plenty of spaces. It only takes about 20 to walk to the lanes from there and is a really nice walk
