Had a nice walk through the lanes today. Nice to nip in and out of quirky little shops. We were lucky, the sun was out, just a little busy. Can imagine it's not so great in the rain. While visiting Brighton it is a must...More

Have a ramble around the Lanes. Get lost. Stumble upon a hidden gem. Get found again. Go for a coffee.... dive straight back in. Lovely way to spend an afternoon.

A great place for independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Really good for jewellery. Although close to the main shops and seafront it is a totally different experience. It is easy to while away a few hours wandering around the atmospheric lanes and ally ways,...More

With small shops with lots of interesting unique bits to buy, wear eat or drink the place is loaded with character. The busker playing a guitar and singing was amazing and I picked up a handmade wooden game of punket that will be great for...More

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am

I think that each of the shops have their own hours - we did go there in the day and at night and many were open in the evening. Its interesting even when they are not open and worth a visit at any time.
