A lovely, if windy in March, walk. If you're a big reader of Jane Austen, and who isn't?, you feel very 19th century walking along this pristine bit of seaside.

So far I have only walked the Undercliff walk on the wet windy days, its fantastic if you don't mind getting wet here and there! I will of course make my way down there this summer to experience the good weather too ,im sure this will also be fantastic ! Park in the free marina carpark- don't get caught parking... More

Peaceful and calm on good days. Try to avoid when busy as cyclists and runners take up all the space. Dog walking and strolling along here is a good idea at good times of day usually pre 11 am. There are also cafes along the route to stop and have a drink or snack.

Fantastic stress and exertion-free (and free!) exercise from Brighton Marina to Saltdean and back. Reward yourself with a cup of tea and a piece of cake at the Ovingdean Gap cafe en route to your destination.

This is really a great walk any day, sunny it's great to beach watch and sit out at the cafes along the way. And wonderful in the winter when it's much quieter and interesting to see at high tide.

Nothing beats a walk by the sea . The undercliff suits all age groups as it's flat ...There are cafes dotted along the route and the sea life along the shore is full of oystercatchers egrets gulls and cormerants

depending on the time of year the undercliffs are the perfect spot to watch the English try to surf. it's a laugh riot most of the time as it's clear they don't have a clue what to do with those dinky waves but the scenery is magnificent and the walk is divine. the first stop after the marina, about 40... I love walking along the undercliff but I would recdomend going further than just Brighton marina. Go all the way as far as Saltdean. Especially as then you will experience where locals walk with their families. In the Brighton area it's mainly tourists. Plus Saltdean and Rottingdean have nicer sea views. When you reach Rottingdean you can walk up the... More

A great stroll from Saltdean to Rottingdean. Not too long in the car/coach, places to stop if you get peckish and you get to spend time with that special person in your life. This place is too great for you to miss out and if you have a dog then they're probably already excited for a long stroll. NO MONEY... More
