Such a treasure within walking distance of my home. Walked early morning and not many people about. The bird song and the rustle of the trees in the hot summer breeze, squirrels chasing each other. Just lovely. Highly recommended

My friends and I went on our annual bluebell walk in Stanmer Park. A splendid display of the English bluebells is a sight to behold, enjoy the fragrant scent from them under the dappled rays of sunshine under the first leaves of the trees.

You can park in the car park next to the house. Toilets inside and they are dog friendly.

Not a formal one - it's a country park with woodlands - but there's plenty of green space for running around and games like flying kites, ball games, hide and seek etc etc.
