A long stablished Country Park with many improvements in recent years. There are surfaced paths suitable for buggies and wheel chairs . Plenty of seats and picnic tables. Lots of open space for all sorts of games. The views are spectacular. High Above the sea you can see Winchelsea, Rye and on a clear day Dungeoness. For The adventurous there... More

I go for a run there, on the edge of the cliffs. Lovely place to clear your head and start a day. I love it.

Visited this place a few times, it is just soooo lovely. Great views over the Channel. There are routes for every one, from really steep ones to easy ones. Benches everywhere to take it all in and have a rest. If you are lucky you meet some of the free roaming ponies. Great place!

We walked from the Firehills in Fairlight across to the East Hills in Hastings. Quite a challenging walk of about 4 miles, as you are usually either going up a hill or down one. The scenery was beautiful, and I would say that it would be worth visiting in all four seasons to see the changing natural beauty throughout the... More

On a mid January morning I drove up to the car park with great expectations for a challenging, but rewarding walk. As it happens, the next 3 hours did not disappoint.I pulled into the near empty Shearbarn Holiday Park and on joining the path,I was greeted with a quagmire track that, without Wellies was nye on impossible to follow safely. However, I was... More

We came here in the summer of 2016, we used the lift to get up and down here. There are steps but a lot of steep ones so would not recommend them for older people. It is beautiful up here, a little windy but that's to be expected. We went on a clear day and had spectacular views. People were... More

Make sure you know where you are going to meer frienmds - there are several car parks, and at least two of them have matching features (radio masts, wooden buildings next to the roadway, parking charges) The walk to Hastings includes woods, mud slides and landslips, but if you can get there the feeling of satisfaction is tremendous.

The Country Park is a gem on the edge of the Old Town in Hastings. Stretching Eastwards it provides the keen walker with some strenuous routes and the "stroller" with a lift up and down and a reasonably level walk around the open area closest to the town. Some tracks towards the East are challenging and there are a variety... More

We headed up here on a crisp December morning. It is well looked after, it is very spacious and the views into the sea and down the coastline are spectacular.
