Went to see "One Man, Two Guvnors", a truly brilliant night out! Excellent performances all round. The theatre itself is small and intimate, seats comfy, doesn't matter what seats you book, all have a good view. Bar and hot drink servery available, and are reasonably priced, which makes a pleasant change from going to larger theatres. Staffed by volunteers who... More

An excellent production of Ronald Harwood's classic play, without the hassle of the West End, with it's overcrowding, endless traffic queues and expensive drinks. Well worth the £13 ticket price. Whilst the theatre is small by any comparison and located on the south coast just off the Hastings promenade, the productions that it puts on demand respect from the most... More

We have been here a number of times, its a lovely theatre. It does not matter where you sit you will have a good view. The drinks and snacks are affordable. There is free oarking if you get there early.

This is a cute theatre that is not too big but very cosy and shows a variety of local shows both professional and amateur dramatic. Most of the staff that work here are volunteers and do a great job for this charitable society. The car park is rather small but takes quite a few cars at no extra charge. There... More

I've been to a number of performances at the Stables over the past 15 or so years. Most recently I saw a hilarious performance of 'Jeeves and Wooster: Perfect Nonsense', with a cast of just three playing all the parts, which had the audience in stitches. The interchangeable set was cleverly contrived, the actors timing was perfect and costume design... More

I have seen a couple of good productions her and been impressed by the set up in what was once a stable block. It is a fair way out of the town centre but do not let that put you off. The building is clean, the staff polite and the box-office in the entrance area where tickets for all shows... More

Great production, costumes and acting. we were impressed about how profeshional the play was delivered. A gem within Hastings Bar prices very reasonable £3.00 for a small bottle of wine, but no plastic cups to be able to take your wine into the performance All round a good evening.

there was a party of 8 of us, we received a very warm welcome, with some very friendly banter, the drinks/sweets counter and the bar were very efficient. The play we saw was "My Son Jack" a very moving account of the loss of Rudyard Kipling`s son during WW1 the acting was spot - on and there were a few... More

We travelled down to Hastings from Folkestone to see a play at Hastings theatre called My Boy Jack. We weren't disappointed the theatre is a very welcoming place the staff were very helpful and friendly. Though a small theatre it is charming. We went to see this play it was about Rudyard Kipling's son John (Jack). He was a soldier... More
