There is no reason not to visit this museum during your trip to Hastings especially as it is free (contributions received). It is within the fishing boats area and provided useful background to your walk around the fleet on the beach. There are many artefacts...More

A nice little place to visit. Hastings is steeped in history and this place has alot to say for itself. Free entry. Nice educational visit. Lots to learn. Well done to all the staff who were lovely.

So interesting to see and read about all the little exhibits. The boat inside was fabulous and I can imagine children would be very taken by it. What a good use of an unused church as well.

Been here many times and although it does not change I still find it interesting, small children and teenagers might well find it boring ... free entry just give a donation if you wish

Found this hidden gem quite by chance. Entrance is free but donations are welcome. Lots of local information, pictures and exhibits. They have even managed to get a full sized fishing boat in quite a compact space. Definitely recommend.

So much to see in a fairly small space. Much more interesting than I was expecting! Only issue is if you arrive at the same time as a group of school children or tourists, as there's not much room. But if that happens, visit the...More
