The food is filling and high quality, and the bar is pleasant and warming. The only issues are that the seating is limited, and meals often run out quickly.

My favourite pub in Lewes, or indeed all of Sussex. Great choice of drinks, super cosy, great activities going on outside on May Day, very friendly landlord.

We had a lovely time at the Lewes Arms after a visit to the Castle. Delicious Sunday roast by the fire, friendly staff, very good beer. Not fancy as many gastropubs, feels like a proper local, but with great quality and atmosphere. We recommend.

Bar and waiting staff friendly and helpful. We both ordered roast beef. Both had a few chewy bits but there was stuffing... with the beef ???and that was extremely dry. My partner was not over keen on the beetroot and both of us would have...More
