Very interesting with a lot of little items to see. Great herbal garden on the way to the woman tower. Good explanation of a prisoner day. Learn from where the word “ distillery” comes.

Castle looks very small but so much to see. Lots of history to read about and visual displays and things that you can get involved in too. Great for kids and adults. Worth a visit, with stunning views.

Worth visiting for glimpses of our past. Lots of gruesome artefacts and plenty to catch your interest. Make sure you visit the nearby pub with a sheltered garden

There's not a whole lot to see here, but it was nice. Made one realize that living in such a place wasn't anyone's luxury pad!

A rather small museum in a lovely old castle. For those with a taste for the gruesome, there is a skeleton hanging in a gibbet

Very interesting and informative. Herb garden good along with the audio section in the ladies' tower which gave an insight into two lady prisoner's lives.
