Throughout my life I have had only one major ambition. That was to be a giant. Thanks to this attraction I was finally able to fulfil this dream. Unfortunately returning to the real world I now feel Day to day tasks are my mundane. Would have been great if a few model screaming villagers were also present.

Interesting place and obviously the detail is amazing but we were in and out in less than half an hour which, for the ticket price for 3 adults, was a bit unsatisfactory. Once you've looked at one tiny house, you've looked at them all. To be fair, it did depict the village of Bourton so, once that had been modelled,... More

This one-nineth scale of Bourton-on-the-Water is very clever and fascinating. There is even a model village within the model village - very impressive. The entry cost is very reasonable, however, it doesn't take too long to walk around, maybe an hour maximum.

Take a few pictures, giants walking round the tiny village, some of the buildings need a spruceup, the church they were building looked impressive, hopefully the rest of the village will have a makeover, as otherwise it looked like the owners were coining it in and not reinvesting Can't imagine anyone would spend longer than 20 minutes , so an... The model village is a one-ninth scale replica of Bourton-on-the-Water and it contains models of all the buildings that were in the village when the model was built in the 1930s. I was impressed that it also includes a model of the model village – and that model itself includes a tiny model of that model! The streets and gardens... More

Saw this place on tv in Australia on "Escape to the country". So we had to visit. And it was so delightful. Take a walk around the village after visiting and you should be ultra impressed with all the detail involved.

This is well worth a visit if you're in Bourton, it's good value and fascinating with such an eye for detail. The story behind it is really interesting of how the pub landlord and his wife went and measured the real village and then got it built to scale, so clever! Look out for the model of the model of... Such a surprise, and a bit unexpected, half an hour well spent, although if it had been warmer I may have lingered a bit longer. Well worth the entrance, a delightful miniature version of the village, with inspired planting. It probably helps if you know the village a little, as each building is beautifully replicated and the whole thing is... More
