For a relatively small space, there is a lot going on here. Tennis courts, art exhibit, play ground, etc. My dog liked exploring all the smells. Very easy to find. It you don’t want to trek to Pittville, this is a nice option.

Visiting Cheltenham, took the kids to burn off some energy at Montpellier Gardens, near the center of town.
Well maintained park with lots of seating, activities or play areas for the kids, toilets, a cafe and a small art gallery.
Everything you need from a park.
Parking nearby is a bit tricky, but all good apart from that!

I always love visiting Montpellier Gardens. They never disappoint in their flowers and green lawns.

I have been visiting these gardens since a child and the surrounding Regency architecture enhances the experience.

The large green spaces make these gardens brilliant for teenagers and families wishing to play sports or have a picnic! There is also a park and play area for small children and a skatepark for those who are older. There is a cafe and a central bandstand which is a very aesthetic area to have lunch. The place is well maintained and offers a number of events all year round such as the literature festival!

Says it all in the title really, it's a small, unremarkable park. Small gardens, small play area, small grassy area.

A very pleasant park at the end of The Promenade, spacious lawns and flowerbeds. Well worth visiting to see the statue of Holst. Information boards explain that the first spa was here and across the road you can see the Montpellier Rotunda now home to The Ivy Restaurant.

This is a large lawned area, with lots of flowers / plants and an oasis in the city. It is also the focal point for all the Festivals that take place in Cheltenham.
