I will never understand how either of the piers managed to secure national awards. Based on what I have no idea as both are real dumps and do nothing for Southsea,

Wide panoramic view, rock beach with long historical background. Plenty of parking, easy to access. Portsmouth eye locates there together with Game Center

Been here for many visits with the kids, can spend hours in the arcades, keeps the little ones amused! Not the greatest place but a nice place to kill some time, worth a visit.

Something to do on a cold and wet winters day. Traditional English seaside pier, probably best visited on a warm and sunny day!. Nice enought though. Short walk to historic dockyards, D Day Museum or along the seafront.
