Its a bit small for the oldest and largest navy in the world, maybe it had to shrink to the current size of the royal Navy to fit the budget. It is very well organized though per period and good for the kids because of...More

Nice addition to the Historic Dockyards and perfect for a rainy afternoon. Some interactive exhibits that might interest children.

Because of all the nice boats you can enter and see at the historic dockyard, you would almost forget or skip this beautiful museum. But don't do that. Especially the part of Nelson, a great person in the history of navy England is worth visiting....More

The most amazing collection of all things Royal Navy from inception to the sadly declining Fleet of 2017 - give yourself a lot of time to take it all in - highly recommended

Good museum and not large but ended up speeding through it to get to the "big three" and didn't give it the credit it is due. See the ships first and this museum as you head back towards the visitor's centre if you have time....More

Fascinating sections on Nelson, the WRNS and the general development of the modern Royal Navy. Clearly aimed at both adults and children to great effect. We worth the entrance money.
