Arrived 10am with great excitement and paid £2 to park the car. Two other vehicles did similar. Followed the signs on foot to the entrance only to see it is closed until 2020. Well, Portsmouth City Council made a quick £6 as we all moved on. Maybe a sign saying closed BEFORE paying parking would be courteous. We're from the... More

Had a great time. Plenty to see. Just a shame it's closing as it's being moved into the Dockyard alongside all the other attractions. Looking forward to seeing the new Museum when it opens.

Visited a week before it closed. Lovely building and a very interesting museum. It is a long wait until the enlarged museum opens in Portsmouth Dockyard in 2020.

Situated at the site of the former Eastney Barracks. A great insight in to the history of an elite corps from its formation up to today. Housed in the old Officers mess, an impressive building sited on the seafront. It has now closed and will reopen in 2 - 3 years in the historic dockyard in a building with no... More

The museum is a little out of the centre of Portsmouth but well worth a visit. Looks to be wheelchair friendly and lifts within the building. Car park is a short walk from the museum and is £2 for 3hrs

I visited this museum with my 6 year old grandson. There are plenty of displays and interactive events. The assault course outside was also very popular.

Visited as a group and found the experience very interesting. There much history and for once I loved the souvenir shop. It is not an obvious destination for tourists I think but I would thoroughly recommend taking time out to visit.
