We went primarily to see the Mary Rose as that had been closed on our last visit. What a fabulous museum, so cleverly laid out, brilliant concept. The Victory audio tour was great, and the M33 boat interesting. Luckily we live fairly close so we will be able to return during the year to make the most of our ticket... More

Confession time... I'm not much of a lover of historic buildings so was not hoping for much on our first visit here earlier in the year. But I was so wrong!!! There is so much to do here, fascinating exhibitions - and not just the Mary Rose (which is amazing) the Warrior is just beautifully restored. Great day out.. So... More

A really well presented attraction. However, allow yourself 2 days to do it justice, there is sooo much to see. We saw the Warrior, Victory, M33 and enjoyed the harbour tour. We did not have time for the Mary Rose, the Museum or the other attractions. The audio guide for Warrior was unfortunately not working, however, there were some very... More

Everything is done so well you want to spend time with each exhibit. We spent three days across the year and still have more to see. The annual ticket is great value.

My husband and I found this a fantastic place however with two young children it wasn't the best place to go on a family trip, maybe when they're older they'll appreciate it. 3yr old and 5yr old.

The historic dockyard is rammed with things to see, but don't miss out on the Jutland exhibition. It gives a good explanation of the battle, and includes a range of memorabilia which either survived the battle or has subsequently been recovered. Takes about 1-2 hours to go around.

We spent an enjoyable day and a half at the Historic Dockyards in June. Coming a long way we always knew that despite the annual entrance ticket we'd need to make the best of the limited time we had, so were aiming for roughly a day and a half of exploring. We arrived mid-morning on day one and despite having... More

Booked tickets for this visit well in advance as we had previously been in 2015. Was a great day as usual, however, we felt that this event has suffered from its own popularity as there were many more visitors in 2016 than in 2015 and it was difficult to get to stalls and queuing for food was a nightmare. In... More
