Nice part of town with the clock tower and old style cobble street. Excellent area to view ships and take in the charm of this area including the royal garrison church.

Despite being in the heart of the city, Old Portsmouth has charm and a feel of a fishing town. History is all around and it is a delight.

Portsmouth is a beautiful modern and vibrant city. The old Portsmouth though has that real traditional and sea world feel. A really pretty part of town and worth a visit.

Used a treasure trail pdf to take us around Old Portsmouth, great way of finding out about the city/ Took us to the cathedral which has historical items relating to Nelson.
