What a great surprise. Never been here before, this was the first. A lovely marina surrounded by shops and restaurants. There is an cinema & kids play park and the car park is free. This would be perfect in the summer for a small walk...More

Lots of places to eat, good choice. We ate at the Harvester which was busy but staff were good explained waiting times so you knew what to expect. Lots of boats in the harbour to look at.

Lovely Marina with a good selection of restaurants and a few stores,well situated with nice views.We were here in Jan but the outdoor seating looked great with fab views .Would make for a great lunch or evening celebration in the summer outdoors.

Good choice of restaurants, lovely views, close to Portchester Castle and the motorway. Often hold events and fairs.

OK so Cotton Traders aren't too bad, nor Pavers, the rest is over-priced tat. The 'security' is lax and seems more interested in not being visible than keeping people safe.

The Port Solent is a great place for a walk. The harbour is an excellent place for boat enthusiasts, people who appreciate the water, walkers, and photographers. There are also loads of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

A lovely marina with plenty of bars and restaurants. Some small retail stores and a 'mall', The Trading Post, with some lovely local traders. Free parking which is a bonus, although car parks aren't particularly well lit at night. Seems rather dark everywhere. Could do...More

Sorry cannot answer as i only use Port Solent for entertainment only but i would not think you would have any problems.
