My ancestors were on the Mayflower 400 years ago, so it was interesting and moving to see this memorial. Wish they had listed all the passengers instead of just having plaques for the richest people on board.

It's a tall column, next to the busy road but it is what it symbolises that matters! It was not far from here at the Westgate where the Mayflower and Speedwell left the UK for the Americas.
