The Titanic disaster had a huge impact on Southampton and this memorial is one of a few dedicated to those engineers on board the fatal ship. Well worth a visit and during spring the flowers look beautiful.

If you are in the park, take a detour and visit. Bit sad but worth seeing. You can also visit the Titanic exhibition in the museum.

An elegant memorial on the edge of East Park. In a city of many different memorials, this is by far the nicest to view.

Of course, the entire story around the Titanic is special but this monument isn't. Go instead to the seacity museum to learn all about the Titanic.

This is a very elegant memorial to the Engineers who lost their lives on the Titanic in1912 and it is set in nice parkland near the centre of the city. Well worth a visit.

Made us sad looking at this. Remembering the brave souls who stayed at their post while the ship went down. This tribute is beautifully done and a fitting memorial. The kids turned very reflective for a while after this and the nearby cenotaph.

A beautiful Monument to to many lives that were lost when he Titanic sank. Many of the crew were from Southampton and this took a heavy toll on the local population at the time
