You can pick up part of the city walls by West Quays, a mix of old and new structures. Recently had the Festival of Light projections on the city walls so look out for then when they return.

Walked the walls many times, Southampton is trying to make a much larger feature of the walls, need to replace signs as they are worn out.

Stayed at a AirBnB adjacent to the town walls. Nothing much except old broken stone structures which have been now preserved. Good for a walk by while in the area. It is very close to the Red Tunnel ferries (for Isle of Wight) so you...More

This was a Surprise treat on a whirlwind visit to Southampton. We toured after dark, making the sight more exotic and mysterious. Good experience in history.

Visited the city to do a little Xmas shopping and it was very busy down the High Street with the lovely festive Xmas market. I bought so much I have to return next week as I did not e en get to the ice skating...More
