The loyalty and bravery of the Gurkha is well commemorated in this excellent museum. The especially vivid dioramas take us from India's NW frontier through the World Wars, Malaya the Falklands and beyond. A hidden treasure for military buffs.

almost a family museum with a unique atmosphere. one of the few military museums where you feel you are in the living presence of the heroes themselves - because normally you are.

Hi Peter, we didn't need a lift but we think there may be one at the Gurkha museum. Have you thought to ring and ask them?
