This building really is quite beautiful to look at and anyone who appreciates architecture will enjoy it. The building has been divided up for different uses, including the tourist information centre.

This is a typical municipal building of late Victorian age. It’s complex architecture and and visually exhausting elaborate detail is not to today’s taste generally, but it is grandiose and imposing. Exactly what was aimed for in that era. There is little worth visiting inside....More

Has a very cheap cafe adjacent to pretty park and a small tourist information centre and good toilets. Opposite bus station. Boring modern architecture inside.

Located at the end of Winchester high street and on the street called Broadway is the guildhall in the heart of the city. This large victorian building is pleasing to look upon and a good photo opportunity.

Winchester Guildhall - 08/17 Winchester City has plenty of high points for us, with it’s old Tudor buildings and remains of Roman Walls and castles.....I was certainly in my element. Having had an emotional farewell after returning our Daughter after her Leave to go back...More
